Boxing Day, also called the day after Christmas, is like a big shopping event with great deals and discounts.
I did it shortly after Christmas because of my fun-loving and unpredictable nursing schedule.
Last night, my Christmas decorations were taken down along with the tree before returning from my parents' house. I couldn't leave behind the wrapping paper mess without tidying up the tree too. Plus, I enjoy starting the new year with a clean and reset house.
I was under the impression that it was gonna be January 6th, which would be 12 days after Christmas. I've been doing this for 37 years, so it's become my tradition.
Make sure to bring it down before the New Year, so you can start fresh once Christmas is done and everything's back to normal.
The Christmas decorations are all packed up and the tree is down, feeling all refreshed and ready to bring in the New Year!
