$20k fine I suppose is about right. Paps should have just chinned him

You can see Papley kinda shoulder-checking, so I'd say they're both to blame here.

but McCartney had no business being on the field! If he hadn't committed a foul in the first place and then snuck over to whisper in Papley's ear, both illegal moves, Papley wouldn't have had a reason to react to anything in the first place.

Papley is the one who started this ridiculous situation. It all depends on which team you're playing for.

Cheer for all teams, not just Victorian clubs. Let's move the Grand Final to different cities and embrace the national aspect of the AFL.

Good job Papley, took a shot and was 20 grand less than McCartney.

Not his first rodeo, gotta steer clear of them opposition players, mate should've already picked up on that.

You probably thought it was just about the girlfriend, huh? 😄
Harold Johnson
Bloody great showing of tall poppy syndrome happening here... Teams can cark it sometimes. No need to get all worked up, it's just bloody soccer. I've been loving watching the Tillies and will keep on doing so.
Isaac Cole
They were gassed up to be way bigger than they actually are, I'm shook.

Because she's angling for that top spot with the new coach...
Max Parker
They've already ditched 2 coaches, I don't think they'll find a 3rd one.
Andrew Mackie
Why is she sticking up for the girls' rubbish performance in Paris when she was the only one who couldn't be bothered to focus on her role as a forward, too busy daydreaming about her new fling with Cleary.
Xavier Wright

Let's ditch the show ponies and bring in some badass ladies who can really play! It's time to start fresh and stop pointing fingers at the coaches.

They totally killed it at the WC, thanks to that home field advantage. We were all about the series and joined the bandwagon. But let's be real, shouldn't have had such high hopes for a repeat. And by the way, Sam is just as much of a disappointment as her brother.
Basically, it ain't all that. The hype and the cheers don't change the fact that they're just not hitting the mark. Their coaching, strategy, and talent just ain't up to par with the best teams out there. I was hoping for more, but it's just not happening. And all this attention might inspire some u... View More

Maybe you should have a go at roasting the banks before taking on the supermarkets. Ask them why they're taking advantage of the people with their huge profits and excessively high-paid managers.
Justin McKenzie
There's so much corporate greed going on. We need to bust up this greedy food monopoly or things will never change.
Bryce Thomas
Most CEOs would be out of luck if the shareholders found out about this teeny tiny profit margin!
Xavier Wright
It's not just Coles, what's up with all these other big companies raking in the cash thanks to Covid? And seriously, why is petrol now $2.13 a litre when it used to be $1.76? Talk about highway robbery!
How about we set aside a spot in the fresh food section for folks on welfare or having a hard time with mortgage payments. We can put some items that are close to their expiration date for Free Food.
Marcus Reid
Seems like me "accidentally" not scanning some of my groceries isn't hurting their profits much.

Lust for cash, cash, and more cash! The only issue the western nations have is these giant corporations and their never-ending hunger for profits. Did you see the salaries of those CEOs? Ridiculous and totally out of touch with reality. And don't even get me started on politicians. That's where all ... View More

The worst part is, we're losing our food source because farmers are being pushed to their limits. They're leaving the land because Coles and Woolworths only pay them pennies for their products. 🙄

The government is flawed as Woolworths makes 1.72 billion in profit before tax, while the top 5 banks together make 15 billion after no tax and 9 billion from credit card and account fees.

It's time for Coles to start putting some of their "profits" into a fund for people who are struggling with the cost of living. It would be great for their public image if they did this. When you're at the shops and the bill is too much, you can let them know at the checkout, self-serve, or service ... View More

Albo, let some more bloody supermarkets in to break up this bloody duopoly. Other countries don't have just two bloomin' supermarket chains colluding to keep prices sky high. Coles and Woolies need a fair dinkum competitor to bring those prices down.
Ben Odgers
It's dead easy mate, just avoid Coles and Woolies, but it's bloody hard to convince folks to stop voting for Labor or Liberal.
Adam Jasper
Alright, they can drop more cash on some whack anti theft stuff that ain't even legit.

We need more competition, mate. Prices at both Coles and Woolworths are on the rise again. What's the excuse this time, ay?
