Carlton players have endangered their health by diving forward with their head down to win penalties, a form of staging. They should be fined or suspended to show that such behavior is not acceptable if the AFL is serious about preventing head injuries.

Umps don't get the luxury of slow-mo and replays. They might make iffy calls in the heat of the moment. It is what it is, but the MRO does have access to those tools. They should start cracking down on diving with fines or suspensions. That'll put a quick end to the problem.
