This is bloody tragic. People are carking it, something's gotta be done about these planes.

If a bird smacks into the plane as it lands, it won't make it crash. The landing gear wasn't down and the plane didn't seem to have its flaps out either. Was it a drone that got sucked into the engine instead of a bird? But why not just go around and check things out before trying to land?

When I reckon about all the years of agony, hardship and torment the poor bear has copped from that trainer, I'm actually gutted that the bear only pinned him down and didn't crook him. Phyllis Smith
