Teachers should get paid well because they basically act like parents and counselors for kids whose own parents aren't doing their jobs.
Seems like a hefty chunk of cash, but bloody hell, kids these days are outta control... No discipline at all. It's a constant bloody nightmare hearing about teachers getting abused or attacked. And don't even get me started on dealing with parents... No amount of money could make me want that job.
I was a janitor at a school and let me tell you, teachers deserve every cent they get paid and then some. They work long hours, deal with unruly students and crazy parents, and have to cater to a million different learning styles and disorders. It's a tough job, but anyone who's been around a school...
