With more and more drivers glued to their phones and no required driver training, I don't have faith in them spotting pedestrians at crossings. Let's get creative and build some sky bridges with ramps for everyone to use in sketchy spots around Ballarat!
How about we add some overhead lights and pedestrian lights - it's really sketchy trying to see when cars are coming at you.

I'm all about moving forward, but this is straight up the dumbest waste of cash in our sweet little town.
I rolled up there last week and this family with little ones just strolled out in front of me, not even checking. Good thing I was only going 10ks. That was a disaster ready to go down!

If it's safe, you should always stop for animals on the road or just avoid them. I get that sometimes it's not safe, but come on, those swans are always hanging out in the same spots.
