Why? There's only a limited amount of cash to spend in Ballarat. With Stockland being so close, it just feels excessive.

What the actual heck? Geez, there's no need for that. There are other areas in Ballarat that are growing rapidly and could benefit from the shops more than Wendouree.
We require additional mental health facilities, not additional shopping centers.
How about a Westfield shopping centre for crying out loud, this will be absolutely swarmed just like the CBD.
Why do they call them "bigbox" shopping centres?... Not many things really come in a box, right?
They could just spruce up the old stock land and make it two stories. That's how some other Westfield malls began – they started small and then expanded vertically.
There are even more ghostly stores together with what used to be Masters, which I think stayed vacant for a really long time ...
Why stick another one in wendouree? Why not slap a shopping center on the east side of Ballarat instead?
