Because of all the bloody rain we've been having, it's been clearing out a bunch of dust and crap in the sky, so the sun's rays aren't being filtered as much! Just my two cents!
Matthew Friske

Just curious, where are they taking these temperatures? Are they back on the bitumen of airport runways?

Just got back from Japan and it was scorching at 36c one day!
It's not just about one scorching day, but the overall temp is going up crazy fast and we can't keep up.
Gutted that so many reckon this is a laugh. Looks like heaps of people didn't do too well in science at school, ay.

Which part of history are you talkin' about mate, the Roman bit or the Medieval bit?
Aaron Causton

Ernest Barnes
Dating back to 1873, mate? I reckon you'll find it was a fair dinkum lot hotter hundreds of thousands and millions of years ago. And bloody freezing as well. The media never thinks to give us the full scoop on temperatures over the past 140 years. Back in the day, temperatures were way hotter, with no ice caps and higher c02 levels. So, trying to scare us with recent temperature spikes is pretty shady.
Almost all scientists say we're screwed, but hey, no worries! The Facebook crowd thinks otherwise, so we can chill. Thank goodness!

If you just do a little bit of digging, you'll see that we have all the answers and you'll be set free!
That's gotta be rough, especially since they never strip down in public in those places.
They've been keeping track for a while now, so who knows if it was even hotter before that? 🤷‍♀️
