A 23-year-old pitch invader has been sentenced to three months behind bars after storming the field at AAMI Park, during an A-League match last year.

Following a violent pitch incursion against the relocation of the league's finals, the fan launched a bucket of sand into the face of Melbourne City goalkeeper Tom Glover.
