I've been here for 50 years, it's just a typical Canberra winter mate.
Yeah, a lot of us Canberrans are feeling the same way. It's still winter, but it doesn't feel as cold and miserable as it usually does, even after living here since the 1950s.
Canberra usually has clear skies and lots of sunshine, but weather can be unpredictable, sometimes leading to less sun than usual.

Karma works in mysterious ways, mate. That's what happens when you don't fork out for super, taxes, suppliers, and give shoddy service with your tucker. Do it right from the get-go and you won't cop it.

Perhaps it's because property prices are going through the roof due to all the tourists flocking in. That's what the quick read seemed to suggest. It's a common occurrence in our popular tourist destinations.

Barcelona is bursting at the seams with tourists! They're swarming from one sight to the next like busy bees. I remember walking by the Sagrada Familia and it was like a flood of people spilling out onto the streets, causing total chaos!
Adam Wilkins
Do you think any Barcelona locals will stop going on trips? They'd be tourists too when they travel. If they keep tourists away, hotels would shut down and the protesters would be out of jobs. Looks like they didn't think this one through, huh?

I reckon there won't be any Spanish tourists heading over to London or any other beautiful spots in the UK in the future. But hey, less flights means less impact on our planet so maybe it's not such a bad thing after all.

Boy, that nicely dressed and well-mannered crew chowing down sure seemed like a pack of trouble-seeking misfits!

I went to Barcelona ages ago and people there were so rude. No way am I going back there. There's way better stuff to check out in Spain, I think.
Let's hope that protesters can find a chill way to share their thoughts, and that tourists will show love and respect for the locals and their way of life. Hopefully everyone can vibe together in harmony.

Well, if you decide to turn the house into a creepy family museum after the last member kicks the bucket, I guess that could work. You could put everyone back in their spots by the fireplace, spruce up the place, and show it off to potential buyers for a spooky "day in the life" tour.
