Nah, man. You're supposed to say that first "r", but folks are just too lazy to bother. Kinda like how no one bothers with the "t" in "enter".
How about we start calling it "When'sday" - you know, the day we all ask ourselves, "When the heck will this week be over?"
I reckon only a few people in the US don't pronounce the first R... the rest of us do...🙂
Both the US and UK way of saying it don't have that first "R" sound.
Everyone be sayin' the R around here. It'd be super weird if they didn't, man.
