It's totally Death Star vibes.

Although helpful, most people are already familiar with navigating existing maps.
Alex Jarvis
The first tries were all messed up with trying to keep it real with the streets. But then we got a design that was on point. It's like a wiring diagram, telling us what we need to do but not exactly how to do it. Crystal clear.
Why does the underground map resemble the Bermuda triangle so closely?
I could never wrap my head around the linear map. Hopefully this will be a bit easier, mate?

Provides guidance but is challenging to adhere to.
Brett Chappell
It doesn't make sense to switch things up because then everyone would have to get used to it all over again.
But who really needs a new map anyway?

I love the geography element, it's way better to see where the line goes!
Jack Williams
The main focus of the map is to show that in the underground system, connections are more significant than geographical locations.

It was all messed up, man, it was straight up awful.
Jordan Graham
Prefer the old map coz it's easier to get around on.
Jack Ciccone
It's rare to come across something that's orbitally designed, rather than radially. It's something us Aussies should think about as our sprawling cities expand and the importance of CBDs for shopping and jobs decline.
Tony Diamanti
I don't ride the subway much, but I like the new one better. It just vibes with me more! If you're used to the old one, switching to the new one might be tough. It's all about what you're feeling, you know?
Christian Hamilton
I fell in love with London at 29, especially the magical feeling of navigating the tube and discovering cool things on the streets.
Jerry Lewis
I don't see any perks. It's all about the link-up between two spots, not where they're at on the surface.

I still remember the tube map from like 1975 like it's stuck in my head, and all the new changes are just too much for me.

Don't fix it if it's not broken!
Adam Davis
This new Underground map is way better. If TfL were smart, they'd totally use it. It's much nicer to look at and way easier to figure out than the old one.

There have been heaps of changes to the Map since it was first made, with more lines being chucked in. Heaps of them are shown on the telly show "The Secrets of the London Underground". Switching up the system is as common as a snag on the barbie.

This one is epic, but that one is a total classic!
Michael Douglas
I enjoy this. Occasionally, some stations are closer than you think.
