My folks made it through the dark ages without power and all they can say is "we used to trek to school for 3 hours, just for kicks!"

My folks made it through their childhood without bloody electricity.

The one thing I wanna say is, it’s totally different bein’ phoneless in a place where no one has phones versus bein’ phoneless in a place where everyone’s got one.

Nah mate, that's not fair dinkum cause back in the day they used to do different things that we don't do now because we're either not interested, feeling the pressure from mates, or technology has moved on.
