Mate, as a cop he's gotta use his noggin. I reckon I would've chucked a blanket or a bed sheet over her. How big did he reckon that knife was?

Another thing that worries me is how easy it is to get knives in that house. And the cop definitely needs some more training. I feel bad for him. I don't think he did it on purpose. Just a mistake. That's all. They should also take a closer look at the home. Carol White

Teachers in public schools earn around 120k at the top scale, while head teachers make a bit more, and department heads and principals earn 160k+. Alan Bernard
In Straya, it's either a boss role or workin' in a fancy school. Public school teachers don't earn anywhere close to that! Alex Horne
I've been teaching in a Victorian public school for 21 years and I definitely don't make that much money. If only I got paid for all the extra hours I've put in over the years... Greg Thompson
I'm a lecturer with 35 years of experience in teaching and 20 years in academia, but I don't make as much as him. He must be in a leadership role or teaching in a private school to earn that much. My daughter just started teaching and she only makes half of his salary.

How much loot did he snag this time? Is he dishing out dough for taxes or is he off the hook?
Should've let Colin Carpenter handle that, at least we would've gotten some laughs out of it. Andy Macgregor-Duggan

I don't acknowledge my family's wartime sacrifice for our country, and we only have one day to thank them and all veterans.
Come on, let's bounce! This ain't our turf. We're just temporary residents until it's someone else's turn. Pat Thompson

Peace out Prime Minister!! It's idiotic to punish those who save and invest. Maybe if the government stopped blowing money and tightened up on immigration, we could actually start making some progress. Who even elected this fool? Seriously!! He already messed up on the indigenous vote, now he's gonn... View More
Albo's record immigration has led to housing shortages, and changes to negative gearing won't make much of a difference. He lacks knowledge and never takes responsibility.
Renters are the only ones who will lose, as investors will either move their money to better investments or increase rent prices. Lawrence Gonzalez
Up to now, no solid plans in place. Perhaps adjusting the rules for those with 110 properties wouldn't be a bad idea. And while they're at it, maybe consider changing the CGT rules for those selling their $100m homes. Paul Davidson
