Why was anyone surprised that he got his ass kicked? It was no surprise at all - he was up against a real champ who was definitely the favorite to win. Grant Reid
Tim's ego got the best of him in the fight. He didn't realize his opponent was no pushover. I saw all the pre-fight trash talk, and Tim definitely didn't give his opponent enough credit. He thought he could easily dodge those punches, but ended up getting rocked by a couple of haymakers.
You could tell he was mentally shattered from the last stoush, mate, when he kept searching for some imaginary gash on his noggin in the first round... Words don't mean nothin', just go up to them and look them straight in the eyes. Whatever you spill stays there.
I reckon we had to choose between Adam Kingsley and Brad Scott. I was keen on Kingsley, but looking back, when they got Robert Wall to help pick, it was pretty clear he's not a fan of Essendon.
I mean, who can blame him? We're all totally bummed out by how our season has gone down the drain.
