These Trump tariffs will hurt everyone. They don't work

Musk is bloody stoked, the tariffs on Chinese electric cars will make 'em more expensive, so the Yanks will be buying up Tesla's like there's no tomorrow.

America will never make enough of some stuff, like cool stuff we get from other countries, like China. So everything's gonna be more pricey. Plus, American-made stuff is already pretty costly. It's always gonna be that way. Alan Walters
