Is it known if either boy has aboriginal heritage? I don't think so. It's not important.
Geoff Black
Shouldn't our diverse country include the indigenous in art too?
Dimitri Markelis
Some blokes will reckon anything's a bloody insult. It's a bloody shithouse world we live in.
 Keith Griffin
It's known as cultural appropriation when non first nations people do it, even if they didn't mean to offend.
James Williams
In 1971, Geoff Bardon, a white school teacher working with Indigenous kids in Papunya, saw the local fellas drawing symbols in the sand while spinning yarns. He got them to start slapping their stories on board and canvas, kickstarting the Aboriginal art scene.
Evan Jones
Are preschools stopping little white kids from doing dot painting so they don't offend anyone?
Glenn Hayes
What if they had painted the colosseum? Look out, Romans are coming...
David MacDonald
Take the whole show down, it's way past its expiration date.

I reckon there was gonna be some flak about the bloke's design. But, back in the day at school in the 60s and later on in the 00s, I was drawing geometric dots well before I knew about or saw Indigenous art.

This show has totally gone off the rails - it's all about the drama and keeping up with the latest gossip!

TBH, this is the least shady thing about this season.

"Chill out, there are way more things to be pissed about!"
Christopher Anderson
That's a total joke, man. Those dot paintings? They were actually created in '71 by some white dude named Geoffrey Barden, who showed the Aboriginal peeps how to do it. You won't find any of that stuff in caves or on rock walls.

We live in a diverse country and some folks are getting bent out of shape over others wanting to explore a new culture. They need to chill and mind their own business. Stop being so sensitive about stuff that doesn't even involve you.

Mate, that's just not on. No one from the block team told them it was wrong. It's another example of white people thinking they can do whatever they want. The boys who painted it knew it was wrong, but did it anyway. Now they're ignoring the people who are offended by their cultural appropriation. I... View More

What's the problem with that sick art piece? It's way worse for the green-haired chick to treat her man like dirt, and nobody even checked her. She's been acting up and making threats for a while now. What happened to this show when it was all about young folks putting in work to make a dope home? W... View More

Isn't it cool that rugby is such a cultural sport? It's awesome that anyone can join in, no matter where they come from. I used to love watching the Krakouer brothers work their magic in AFL and it never bothered me. And then I got to see Matty Bowen and JT in NRL and was blown away by their skills ... View More

They were just trying to give a shoutout to the first people in a cool way, not to diss them but to show some love and appreciation 😊

Let's get rid of dots and spots!

Might need to specify which designs can be used as inspo.
