They can't actually make you do it by force, but I've heard a few drivers trying to pressure you into doing it with their words.

If somebody has a baby in their arms, it becomes a matter of safety for sure.

It looks like some homes aren't teaching manners and respect anymore.

Nah. But like, be a decent human and let someone who really needs it have the seat.

Despite common courtesy being important, some cultures lack proper manners, which I witness daily when traveling from Geelong to Melbourne by train.

Assuming they are not more vulnerable as a standing passenger, of course.

If there were no seats, mate, you'd naturally offer your seat to someone.

Wow, imagine having an adorable little bub in a stroller or, even better, in a cozy baby carrier! But it's quite surprising that nobody offered him a seat. As an older lady, I would have without a doubt given up my seat, not just for him but for the safety of the baby.

Show some respect, man! If you can stand, give up your seat!

Anyone with a baby should get a seat on public transportation, no matter their gender. People who don't offer a seat are clearly lacking in manners and respect.

Especially with a fresh little bub. Yeah, mate.
February 8, 2024
Yeah mate, a bloke should definitely show respect to all ladies.

I reckon we should let him have our seat 'cause it's super tough to juggle a baby while the bus, train, or tram is moving.
