What is myyaak?

myyaak is similar to other social media platforms, in that you can post messages, videos and photos as well as like, comment and share all of them just like before.

DamnN International is Australian owned and operated and is the 100% full owner of myyaak.

At myyaak we will be doing things differently to the other platforms ....... but not only differently but better and giving you the ‘people’ the power, that has been for too long the domain of the platform owners whim or some mediator, whether a computer or person that is not ‘hooked’ into the ‘ever changing’ World.

Unlike some social media platforms myyaak will show posts and photos in chronological order of them going up to better follow what is going on in your family and friends lives rather than being a jumbled mess out of order and having no structure. Why complicate things ……..... things are already hard enough without a hodgepodge app adding to this.

And on top of this myyaak will not be saturated or bombarded by advertisers popping up every three or four posts taking away what is meant to be an enjoyable experience by seeing what your family, friends, neighbours or groups of people are up to.

What make myyaak different from other social media platforms?

There are many differences between myyaak and the other social media platforms out there. First you need to prove to us that you are a real person by showing 2 forms of ID or a phone number.

On myyaak we have a list of over 6,000 words that can not be sent. No one can send a word that is on this list. On top of that people can not send nude images that can then be used for sextortion purposes.

There are no algorithms at all. Let me say that again ….. myyaak has no Algorithms

As I said before every person wanting to become a member of myyaak has their information checked before they get an account. This is the same with advertising. All ads are vetted before they are allowed on myyaak.

But on top of those two significant things myyaak will give you something that no other social media site or platform gives you and that is something for FREE.

Yes that’s right you heard or more to the point read in right ....... FREE. Sure you’ve heard the saying “nothing comes for free” or “if it’s too good to be true it probably is” or “there’s nothing free in a free lunch” ...... well think again because myyaak has thrown convention out the window and are given you something for free.

At myyaak we are giving you points every time you post, comment (yak) or share something (yarn) that can be converted into Kels (these are K and more on what Kels are later) which then can be used on different apps and websites in that ‘DamnN International’ World.

How can I join?

You fill in the sign up form including 2 forms of ID or 1 ID and a phone number. If everything is correct you will then be accepted and you will be on myyaak. You will also receive K2,000.

How do I become friends with people?

Simply send a ‘friend request’ to them for them to accept you as a friend.

What is a DamnN Bank?

This is where your money is and also your Kels. At anytime you can go into your DamnN Bank and you will see your money in AUS$, but also the currency that you have in your particular country (USA $, UK £, France € and NZ $) and also your Kels. If your currency is not there then it will just default into AUD$.

If you put any money in this will show up here. And you can use it on other DamnN International sites as well. It just follows you around.

How do I put up a post?

This is done that same way that you always have on other social media site. Once up have put up your post, video or photo, people can do one of 4 things.

Someone can like it, which is called a ‘yep’

Someone can not like it, which is called a ‘yuck’

Someone can comment on it, which is called a ‘yaak’

Someone can share it, which is called a ‘yarn’

What is a ‘yep’, ‘yaak’, ‘yarn’ and a ‘yuck’?

These are just the way we do things here at myyaak.

A ‘yep’ is exactly the same as a ‘like’ ....... as in ‘yep I like that post or comment’.

A ‘yaak’ is exactly the same as a comment’ ....... as in ‘I will have a yaak with someone’.

A ‘yarn’ is exactly the same as a ‘share’ ....... as in ‘I want to share this yarn with you’.

And a ‘yuck’ is exactly what it sounds like ....... as in ‘I don’t like this and it think it is yuck’. Now this is a first for any social media platform and we think that this is a real game-changer in the way that people use social media in a way that has never been seen before. People get to decide if something appropriate or not, not a moderator or admin person and if enough people push this then the post will be removed.

I have used all my ‘yucks’?

If you have used all your yucks you can buy more yucks. These can be bought for 5c each.

Every week you will receive 5 new yucks and these can be used or not. The most that you can have at any one time is 50.

These are very important, as they can be used when you are unhappy with a post that someone has put up, but you can only use a maximum of 50 per week.

You will see under every post the amount of yucks that are needed for this particular post to be removed.

It could be ‘1 more yuck needed to remove this’ or 2 or 478, it all comes down to the amount of people that are on myyaak and is based on 1% of people clicking on ‘yuck’.

Is it true that I can delete a post?

Yes as we said above. And while everybody has the right to ‘freedom of speech’ some people go too far and this is a way of putting the ‘social’ back into social media.

How do I get points?

Again this is easy, all you have to do is post something that people can like, comment or share ...... everything that you have done on social media before, but now you get something for it!!

What points are posts, likes, comments and share worth?

Each thing has a different point value.

If you put up a post you get K20

If someone comments on a post you put up, you get K5

If you comment on post you get K10

If someone does a reaction (yep) on a post you put up, you get K1

If you do a reaction on post you get K1

These K can all be checked in your wallet and your DamnN Bank. So as you can see points can add up very quickly. Have a look on any social media and you will see thousands, in fact millions of people liking, commenting and sharing posts day and night. But right now every person that does this get nothing from it ...... and that has all changed as of now!!

What are Kels?

Kels are a virtual currency in the DamnN world. They can be used to play different game like QuizStar, RISK or PI3CK, with more games to come on line soon. In the future they will also be able to be turned into real money.

What is the ‘myyaak self-police’ all about?

myyaak strongly believes in the ability of free speech and actions …….. to a certain point …… and that is where the ‘yuck’ button comes into play.

But by ‘to a certain point’ we mean, so long as it is acceptable by the vast majority of ‘myyaakas’. In other words so long as most people find the post acceptable and reasonable and unlikely to cause distress then in the vast majority the post, yaak, photo or video will be fine.

But and there is a ‘but’ and that is, if a certain percentage of people find a post or yaak unacceptable it ‘can be removed’ by people power. For the first time on any social media platform the power will be given to the people and not the moderators or computers using AI, not the owners, not politicians or lawmakers, the PC’s or so-called know-alls, it will be and will always be the people that will decide if a post is ‘acceptable or not’.

Now there will be some posts that people won’t or don’t like whether that be of someone’s personal political view, a religious view, a view on race or geography and the people have the power and if enough people don’t like a particular post for it to be removed and below is how the removal of posts will work.

If 1% of the people that have an account click on the ‘yuck’ button it is automatically taken down. So if there are 10,000 accounts then it would take 100 ‘yucks’ to remove the post.

A person that has their post or yaak taken down can retrieve it for a cost of AUD$1.

If the post is then taken down again it will not be able to be retrieved.

If a person has 5 posts or comments in a week that are taken down, that person will have their account suspended for the next 7 days. This suspension can be challenged for cost of AUD$5 and the person will be notified if the account will be re-activated or not.

After the suspension is lifted, the person will then be placed on 14 day probation. If a person puts up a post or yaak that is again removed on 2 occasions in the space of the probation then that person has the potential for their account to be suspended further or their account to be deleted completely with any Kels to be forfeited. Again this suspension can be challenged for AUD$10.

This will be completely at the discretion of myyaak.

What can I do if I get an ‘X’ on a post?

You will see that one of your posts or yaak has received a ‘yuck’ as a notification. If it receives the number of ‘yucks’ for it will be taken down, you will see this in the ‘Down Posts’ tab in your wallet. There are then 2 things that you can do;

  1. You can just not worry about it and move on

  2. Or you can pay for it to go back up on to myyaak

If your post is reinstated it can then be removed again if it receives the correct number of ‘yucks’ again.

If it removed for a second time then it WILL NOT be able to be reinstated again.
